如：a deep well是指深井；a deep voice低沉的嗓音；a deep red 鲜红色；deep in study 专心学习；a deep mystery 难以理解的奥妙；a deep thinker知识渊博的思想家；deep outrage强烈的愤怒。

又如动词work在翻译时如果上下文不同，汉语习惯搭配也不一样，翻译时应该选择不同的词义来表达。

My watch doesn’t work.

我的表不走了。

The sea works high.
